Reduced tickets are usually available for children, students, seniors and families. A separate photo/video permit may apply if you want to take pictures inside the interiors.

Night tours & summer performances
On summer evenings the castle takes on a different character. Special night tours lead visitors through torch-lit courtyards, and costumed theatre and ghost performances bring its legends to life. These run on selected dates and sell out quickly — book ahead.
Access & comfort
Steep terrain — come prepared
The castle climbs a rock face on stone stairways and cobbled ramps. It is demanding on the legs and is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams — there are hundreds of steps and no lifts on the tour route. Wear sturdy, comfortable footwear, bring a layer (the interiors stay cool), and allow extra time if you’re visiting with children or older travellers.
